We hope to open for entries for the 2027 Farnborough Winter Half Marathon in the next few weeks. We are currently talking to key stakeholders about a few changes to the course. The route will still start and finish under the Aircraft Hangar Arch and will circle the airport  but due to increasing amount of building work in the Shoe Lane area we are currently looking at a plan to avoid that section and adding some extra distance in the first few miles. When the course it finalised and certified, we will open for entries.

The 2026 Farnborough Winter Half Marathon was another successful day. Congratulations to our winners, Theo Doran who came home in 1:07:48 to win the men's race and Rachel Laurie who won the women's race in 1:17:21. With the help of our pace teams -we had 20 pacers covering six different time goals -  we had 339 finishers under 90 minutes and 1464 runners under two hours,  more importantly we had 2351 total finishers as well as over 60 children running the 800m Kids Run. Once again the weather was kind to us and it was not quite the 'Winter' Half we have had in previous years. Congratulations to everyone who completed this year's race.

We are looking forward to another successful race in 2027. The date is confirmed as Sunday February 7th.

 We have a long list of sponsors who provide their support to the event,  notably our presenting sponsor, Farnborough Airport, which has supported the race for the last three year, as well as Farnborough Business Park, which provides our iconic start/finish area and was one founding partners. We also appreciate the support of Rushmoor Borough Council, the Village Hotel Farnborough and  FLUOR all of which have been long time supporters of the race.

Lastly a note of thanks to our volunteers, who are essential for the running of the event. We have a very small full-time team and we are heavily reliant upon our volunteer marshals and helpers to deliver the events. We are particularly grateful tour two charity partners, the Rainbow Trust and Oakleaf, who provided volunteers for two drinks stations as well Fluor who manned the third.
